Antarctica Fly Cruise Ocean Nova
Antarctica Fly Cruise Ocean Nova
For the holiday of a lifetime to one of the remotest places on earth, the Ocean Nova Antarctica Fly Cruise allows you to explore Antarctica in a shorter amount of time than other cruise ships. From Punta Arenas in Chile, South America, you will fly the drake passage to reach King George Island and board the Ocean Nova to start your cruise exploration. Built in 1992, the Ocean Nova is ice-strengthened small ship built for expeditions through icy seas. Renovated in 2006 and updated yearly, the vessel is as luxurious as it is robust, featuring generous accommodations for up to 68 passengers, mouth-watering cuisine, several common areas with views of the resplendent scenery, and a well-appointed workout facility. You’ll share amenities with the other passengers, build lasting friendships and get close to nature in Antarctica than you ever dreamed of.
The BAE-146 airplane will shuttle you directly from southernmost Chile to the Antarctic coast in 2 hours, saving you the 2-day sea journey in either direction. The airline has more than 20 years of experience flying to the frozen land mass at the bottom of the world, and the plane is designed to land on short runways, making it the ideal vehicle to jump start your Antarctica fly cruise.
Ocean Nova Cruise Deck Plan
Four decks give the small group of passengers ample space to spread out onboard the Ocean Nova. You can watch the world float by in the glass-bounded observation lounge on the top deck or cozy up in the library on the bridge deck to read about the landscape and wildlife. The upper deck houses the spacious dining room, and the main deck is where you’ll prep to disembark on more adventures.
